Skye King LMT, was attracted to a career in bodywork as a result of receiving the healing benefits of massage and yoga after an injury. After healing her body she found a new sense of strength and agility that led her to a more advanced yoga practice and playing in a wide range of movement modalities she couldn't have imagined doing before. This new found freedom inspired her to get both her Washington State Massage Licence and Registered Yoga Teacher Licence.
She skillfully combines a range of treatment modalities including myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, strain counter-strain, neuromuscular therapy, deep tissue massage and aromatherapy to create a sense of well being. Skye works specific chronic areas of pain and surrounding structures with intention to encourage deep relaxation and muscle release. Skye enjoys watching the benefits of massage change the pain and tension patterns our 21st century bodies are stuck in. Her ability to pinpoint and treat the cause of pain and discomfort while soothing the nervous system leaves you feeling deeply relaxed and rejuvenated.
